Petras Gintalas – one of the most famous modern medallist, sculptor, coin creator, poet. Member of LAA, FIDEM. Created about 100 medals, occasional coin projects, compositions from metal. His works are exhibited in the Lithuanian art museum, National Čiurlionis art museum, Samogitian museum Alka, K. Donelaitis memorial museum, British museum. The mover of medal art camp and its organizer of many years, tutor of exhibitions. Takes part in LAA exhibitions, minor plastics exhibitions, FIDEM exhibitions, medal workshops of the Baltic states, and republican medal tirennials. Has arranged over 10 author’s exhibitions, the prizewinner of coin and medal art contests. In 2002 and 2015, national grants of art creators were awarded. In 2020, he was awarded with the golden mark of LAA.
